Ok ladies, – my long-awaited second skincare routine blog post is finally here, and I couldn’t be more excited to share! I would encourage you to grab a cup of coffee (or glass of wine depending on the time of day) and get comfy! I love talking skincare and I’m going to go pretty in detail about my experience with my Drunk Elephant skincare routine to hopefully answer ALL of your questions!

I started using drunk elephant last February. I started off with just a few of their products (TLC Sukari Babyfacial mask and Virgin Marula Facial Oil). And just a few uses, I was able to see a difference.
I’m sure most of you have read my Summer Skincare routine where I discuss my go to Tatcha products and more. Although, I love the Tatcha skincare products, I wanted to try another alternative harmless and fragrance free skincare line, Drunk Elephant. (Drunk Elephant products do not contain any of those harmful ingredients).
I use TLC Baby facial twice a week for the most powerful exfoliating treatment you could ever dream of. Seriously, your skin is baby soft after just one use. This product has won SO many awards and been in so many magazines, and rightfully so. It gently but efficiently resurface the skin as it exfoliates, getting rid of built-up dead skin cells by breaking down the substance that holds them to the surface. Think of it as an extra nudge for stubborn, dull skin! You apply it to clean skin, leave on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse. This is great for anti-aging, breakouts, and any other skin problem you could ever imagine!
Right after use of the TLC Babyfacial, I apply a drop of the Marula Facial Oil.
Marula oil is one of my favorite drunk elephant products and a must-have in my opinion. It’s a wonder-working luxury facial oil, high in critical antioxidants, to deeply moisturize, nourish, soothe, and rejuvenate your skin while restoring its youthful glow. This highly absorbable oil delivers clinically proven results to reverse visible signs of aging, as well as incredible antioxidant benefits to combat environmental stressors and free radicals. You need this in your skincare routine.
Just recently, I’ve also tried the Protini moisturizer. And it’s another one of my all time favorite moisturizers; apart from Tatcha’s Water Cream moisturizer. It’s a breakthrough protein moisturizer that combines an unprecedented array and concentration of actives for improvement in the appearance of skin’s tone, texture, and firmness. Protini is like adding a scoop of protein to your smoothie – SO important. Protini’s formula delivers younger, revived-looking skin, almost from the first application. Lines, wrinkles and signs of sun-damage appear reduced; depleted skin feels strengthened and moisturized. The formula’s concentration of signal peptides, growth factors, supportive amino acids, and pygmy waterlily extract provide visible and immediate results. Worth every penny. You need this moisturizer.
TIP: I started using the Protini Drunk Elephant moisturizer in the mornings and the Tatcha water cream at night with my evening skin routine. Seriously sweetie, I can tell you that my skin actually looks flawless.
If you’re interested in trying out Drunk Elephant products but don’t want to take the plunge and buy the entire line…I get it. I would suggest purchasing the mini sizes– for under $100. Or, if you just want to start off with 2 products…I would suggest getting the TLC Babyfacial mask and Marula oil. After you try those 2 out, I promise you will be hooked!
Like I’ve said in my other skincare post-If you’re struggling to know where to start with a skincare routine, I highly recommend either going into a Sephora, or browsing their website. Every girl knows how much fun it is to go into Sephora but honestly I LOVE shopping for beauty products on their website. I love reading reviews, seeing what things are rated…and reading the detailed descriptions about a product. Sephora has such a HUGE selection of skincare products at all price points. I promise you’ll be able to find something there that works for you! (Or someTHINGS really).
Thanks for reading! Xoxo!
