Harp and I traveled to Dominican Republic on our 2 year anniversary. OMGG! Domincian was amazing. I can’t get over the white sandy beaches with the crystal clear blue waters.
We flew into Punta Cana. The more tourist and beachy feel of the island. We stayed at the All-Inclusive Hard Rock Resort and Casino right in Punta Cana. We stayed in Dominican 6 days, 5 nights.
Hard Rock Resort offers 13 pools, 9 restaurants, 4 lounges and a nightclub. Hard Rock has everything from foam pool parties to day excursions.
9 Restaurants Include: Cafetto (24 hours), Ciao (Italian), Ipanema (Brazilian Style), Isla (Caribbean Cuisine), Los Gallos (Mexican), Pizzeto (Pizza and Mediterranean), The Market Buffet, Toro Steakhouse, Zen Chinese and Japanese, Lima Deli.
Around the pool areas, they have taco stands as well as pizza and burger stands. The Tacos from the stands, OMG. They were by far the best tacos, I’ve had yet.
Hard Rock Punta Cana offers it all from the relaxation to the Party Scene.
We spent the first two days in Dominican relaxing by the pool and then we checked out Moon Lounge. Moon Lounge had amazing cocktails. The music was impressive. Moon Lounge wasn’t a club but it had that vibe.
The next night, we headed to ORO Nightclub which was also located at the Hard Rock Resort. ORO was such an amazing club, for a second, I felt like I was in Miami again. The music, the bottle service, the LED lights, the confetti…EVERYYTHANGGGG!
During our time in DR, we did a Hoyo Azul Tour which is approximately 2 hours.

We also went to the beautiful city of La Romana and Catalina Island for the day.
Because, Dominican is more relaxation, we minimized our site-seeing and excursions. We did excursions for two days out of the 6 days we were there. We spent the rest of the time relaxing on the beach and by the pool.

DR is one of those much needed relaxing vacations that you need. If you want to just get away and have a full on All-Inclusive Beach experience, I highly recommend it. Whether this is a family vacation, a couples trip or just a much needed girls relaxing trip- Dominican Republic is one you won’t regret.
